Break and Steal an Egg Halloween Guide
Follow one route from event currency to a new pet: earn Candy Corn, choose a Halloween egg, plant it at your base and check the result in the Index. This guide separates the merchant collection from the other Halloween collection so you do not chase a pet from the wrong source.
What you need to know
When House of Horrors is active, smash Haunted Houses and collect Candy Corn if the treat notice appears. Visit Halloween Merchant beside Trails Shop in the Forest Safe Zone, check Chances and buy the egg containing your target pet. Plant it at your base, wait for Ready, use Hatch and claim available Index rewards. Robux currency packs and growth skips are optional paid shortcuts.

The steps below focus on the merchant eggs. They do not establish a full egg-to-pet map for the separate area, an active end date or a guaranteed full-collection prize.
How to earn Candy Corn without buying a pack

Wait for the relevant event notice
The recorded House of Horrors banner says to smash Haunted Houses for treats. Use the event shown in your server rather than a fixed schedule from an old recording.

Find and break a Haunted House
Look for a visible house and health bar in an area you can safely reach. The captured house is an example, not a permanent spawn location or universal health value.

Read the outcome and collect the treat
The recorded result says TREAT! CANDY CORN!! Collect your treats! Pick up the treat and check your balance. Outcomes can vary, so do not budget a guaranteed amount from every house.
You can follow the observed event route without a Robux currency pack. This is not a guaranteed hourly farming rate; confirm that the event and merchant are available in your current game.
Where the Halloween Merchant is and what eggs cost
Look for the Halloween Merchant cart beside Trails Shop in the Forest Safe Zone. Open its Eggs menu and read the Candy Corn balance inside the shop.
These are recorded offers, not permanent prices or current stock. The video reaches OUT OF STOCK, so a sufficient balance does not guarantee an egg is still available.
Use the shop balance when planning a purchase. At 12:14, the creator's cumulative video overlay reads 45,528 while the shop itself reads 20,528; those are different counters.

No fixed odds, guaranteed number of attempts or hidden pity rule is established here. The video ends without a full 15/15 collection, even though the player uses paid shortcuts.
Buy, plant and hatch the egg

Confirm the purchase
Check the egg name, currency, price and stock. Wait for the purchase notice and confirm that the egg is in your egg inventory.

Return to your base and plant it
Choose the purchased egg and place it on your plot. Follow Growing Eggs and the remaining timer; buying an egg does not immediately select its final pet.

Wait for Ready, then use Hatch
Inspect the animal that actually appears and check whether it fills a missing Index entry. Duplicate pets can appear, so spending more does not guarantee a new entry.
INSTANT Grow All is a paid option, not a required step in normal waiting. Remaining countdowns and edited footage do not establish a universal hatch time, growth formula or fixed skip price.
Claim Index rewards without confusing them with income
Candle Cat is selected at 09:20 and shows Mythic, $1M/s and a $100M reward detail. The six-entry batch pays $13B in the feedback; do not multiply the selected entry's cash reward to calculate a batch. Recurring pet income, single-entry rewards and batch rewards are separate readings.

Open Index after a hatch and compare the collection count with the missing entries. Select a pet to inspect its own details.

Claim only what is available. Compare the completed state and reward feedback, especially when a button claims several entries at once.
